    AEE envisions a school where teachers, students, parents and community members work together to unlock student potential and inspire them to make a positive impact on our community.  


    Our MISSION is to develop socially conscious, critical thinkers who are prepared for life beyond high school, college and careers in education, public service and computer science.

    College Center Announcements


    Mount Saint Mary’s  “Live at the Mount” tour is happening tomorrow Tuesday, October 16th from 7:30AM-2:30PM. Only students who have signed up and submitted a permission slip will be allowed to go. Please meet in the front of the school off of Main and 223rd at 7:20AM.
    Harbor College will be on campus tomorrow for dual enrollment for Spring semester. Stop by the College Center to talk to the reps.
    CSU applications and FAFSA applications are open. Our next workshop is Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 8AM-12PM at Rancho Dominguez High School.
    Hey Seniors, how are you going to pay for college? Stop by the College Center to see the different scholarships out there. We have some really good scholarships posted.
    AP STEM for October 20th is canceled. AP Humanities for November 3rd is filling up. Stop by the College Center now to sign up.
    Are you a 10th or 11th grade African American and interested in touring the different universities in the Bay Area for FREE. UC Berkeley’s Black Recruitment & Retention Center presents the Bay Area College Tour. All those interested are encouraged to apply for a spot by November 4th. Stop by the College Center for more information.
    University of California, Riverside will be here in the month of November to present to interested juniors and seniors. Sign up in the College Center.
    Last day to register for the December 1st SAT is November 2nd.
    Cash for College Convention sign-ups for November 9th is in C-11. Transportation will be provided. This is a free field trip for anyone interested in preparing for college. 
    Parent Conferences Posted 10/17/18

    Parent Conferences will be held this Thursday, October 18th, 2018.


    The location will be the MPR instead of the OAR as previously listed.


    The time will be 5:00-7:00pm.


    Report cards will be handed out during this time so please stop by!

    Device Usage Consent Form Posted 9/7/18

    Parents, we will be sending home a Instructional Technology Initiative form with your students that will need to be signed by both you and the student. This form will allow for the continued usage of Chromebooks on our school site. Here is the form in case you did not receive one.

    Title IX Information

    A Senate Bill has been signed into law by Governor Brown that requires school sites to post information regarding Title IX on their individual websites. Senate Bill 1375 requires that on or before July 1, 2017, individual schools post in a prominent and conspicuous location on their Internet websites specific Title IX information in alignment with the goal of providing greater levels of gender equity in schools. If the school has a website, administrators must ensure that the following is prominently posted—the name of the school’s current Title IX Complaint Manager
